Mr. James Stroman is a true professional. He assisted John Adams Elementary School with 2 community event, once with karaoke and once as a DJ, and each time he was exceptional. What I really appreciated about Mr. Stroman is the personal touch he added each time he came to the school. I could not have ask for better interaction with those attending our functions than what Mr. Stroman provided. He was constantly engage in conversation with students and adults alike which was a testament of their comfort level of approaching him. His choice of music was spot on. If you want great DJ-ing, with an impressive selection of karaoke songs without the cheesy over the top DJ personality, then Jim is your guy. I recommend him 100%. Hired for my wife's 40th birthday party, he delivered and then some. I was impressed with his professionalism from the get-go. Prior to the party, Jim did his homework: he asked in advance what type/genres/decades of music would my wife like played (before the karaoke began). He also visited the party location to do a site check. On the day of the party, he arrived in plenty of time to set up his equipment and get the music started. He was organized in creating a queue for playing karaoke requests, and a few times, with our permission, he got up and sang some tunes himself. He rocked! Not once did he utter cheesy things in the microphone or assume the role of Party Emcee. His set-up included lights and even a fog machine which actually was really fun - especially towards the second half of the night when everyone is feeling real good and totally in the performance groove! Originally I had told him we needed him till midnight, but when the guests wanted more he agreed emphatically to stay on as long as we wanted him. His price was fair - even for the time overage. My wife had an unforgettable birthday party - thanks in part to Jim. I would absolutely use his services again - in fact we are already thinking of another party we could host just to bring him back again. SO. MUCH. FUN.

We held our annual karaoke fundraiser in Greenwood Village, using Jim for the first time. He came well-prepared and was set up on time before about 50 people came in, ready to sing. He easily and politely managed a flood of song requests. Our singers ranged from 20's to 70's in age and he could accommodate all their requests over many decades. I will gladly hire Jim again because he is easy to work with, uses professional equipment and knows what a successful party needs.
